Change to basketball schedule

Due to football playoffs, Wills Point will be unable to attend our regularly scheduled boys basketball games at Crandall HS Monday morning Nov. 20, therefore we will not play any boys basketball games on Monday. We have decided to re-schedule those boys games for Wednesday morning Nov. 22nd at Crandall HS. There will be no freshman game. JV boys vs. Wills Point will begin at 10am Wednesday. The Varsity game vs. Wills Point will follow the JV game at 11:15am. Both games will be in the Crandall HS main gym. Revised practice times for the week will be emailed to players and parents via skyward.

Concilio Graduation at Martin Elementary

On Tuesday, November 14, 2017, Martin Elementary hosted their first parent graduation in partnership with  The Concilio.

The Concilio’s PASE program focuses on a 9-week curriculum that improves academic achievement by teaching parents what their roles and responsibilities are in their children’s education.

We celebrated the closing of our 9 weeks with our elementary parents with a reception and words of wisdom from our Superintendent, Dr. Robert Jolly.  Several parents gave testimonials about how the program had helped them and one student spoke in front of the group about how proud she was of her mother, and her mother’s hard work.

We’ve loved finding a new way to connect with our #PirateCommUNITY and these families.

Congratulations to all 54 graduates of our first Concilio partnership!

2nd CommUNITY Tailgate Success

Senior Night, November 3, 2017, was a success in the #PirateCommUNITY.  Crandall ISD hosted their 2nd annual Community Tailgate before Senior Night and our last home football game against Brownsboro.

There was a wonderful turn out for the music and games, and the Pirates were victorious over Brownsboro.  This success guarantees the Crandall Pirates a spot in the playoffs.

The Pirates will play Mabank on Friday, November 10, 2017, in Mabank, and Playoff information will be available soon.

Special thanks to CISD employee Jason Bowie for the incredible images from our 2nd Tailgate.  We look forward to continuing this event next year.
